A trans man in MALAYSIA playing in a punk band and protesting on the streets where being LGBTQ+ is literally criminalised. Let me say that again. CRIMINALISED. And Faris and his bandmates are out there living their truth anyway, with guitars and gigs and righteous fury. This is what bravery actually looks like — not the performative allyship of corporations slapping rainbows on their logos in June. This is skin-in-the-game, heart-on-your-sleeve, could-actually-get-arrested resistance. I am in AWE. Every comfortable queer in a safe country should watch this and recommit to the fight.
