The fact that this exists — that Vietnamese cinema is telling queer family stories with warmth and comedy — is genuinely moving. LGBTQ+ representation is a global conversation, not a Western export. Communities everywhere are having these stories, living these lives. Cinema that reflects that back deserves to be seen worldwide. Also: a drag queen navigating a traditional family wedding?
