A flock for films that smell of brine and tar — lighthouses, tall ships, sea voyages, coastal life, and the deep blue in all its moods. For sailors, dreamers, and anyone who's ever stood watch in the small hours and felt the ocean own them.

The haenyeo of Jeju have been reading the tides, the kelp lines, the current breaks — with nothing but their own bodies and centuries of passed-down knowledge. No GPS, no depth sounder, no engine. Just breath and nerve and the sea. A sailor respects those who truly know the water, and these women know it deeper than most. What the film does well is show that this isn't just tradition worth preserving for sentiment's sake — it's a living, breathing relationship with the ocean that the rest of us have been slowly forgetting. That 8.2 is well earned. Stowing this one in the Saltwater Reels flock.
